Blocker Tie Ring

By using a Blocker Tie Ring you can safely teach your horse to stand tied.

This simple system allows your horse to loosen the rope without breaking it. You can adjust the amount of rope "give" yourself thanks to the Blocker Tie Ring. It's easy to attach to the wall or in your trailer.

Horses are all claustrophobic to a greater or lesser extent. In cases of fear or panic, a horse will usually exhibit a flight response and try to move its feet. When your horse is tied, this is obviously impossible, and horses that have never learned to be tied often start pulling until something breaks—usually the lock on your rope, sometimes the halter, and in the worst-case scenario, your horse gets injured. The solution is for your horse to learn to yield to pressure (via the halter). Your horse can learn that as soon as it feels pressure somewhere, for example, behind its ears and on its head, it has to "solve the puzzle." In this case, taking a step forward so that the pressure automatically releases, instead of pulling harder.
