Carl Hester explains how to train horses of all ages and levels based on their individual abilities, allowing them to develop optimally. He does this using several of his own top dressage horses; none of which are perfect.
He begins with the training of young horses and ends with the Grand Prix horse Escapado. In an easy-to-read style, he explains a horse's strengths and weaknesses, the exercises required at that level, the problems you might encounter, and how to solve them.
