A simple test can tell if your horse has eaten sand. Collect some manure in a clear plastic glove and mix it with water. Because sand is heavier than the rest of the manure particles, it will eventually settle to the bottom. If you find more than 1 teaspoon of sand in the glove, it's time for attention.

Feeding advice
Horse: 100 g twice a day for 6 days.
Pony/foal: 50 g twice a day for 6 days.
1 bucket of 1200 g is sufficient for an adult horse.
