The Parelli Levels program is a step-by-step lesson program for horse lovers worldwide, developed by horseman Pat Parelli.

This Level 1 course is an online curriculum that you can access directly on the Parelli website, via the Parelli app on your phone or tablet, or on your computer. It's a modern alternative to the old "Savvy packages" of DVDs and booklets. The course is entirely in English and consists of short, bite-sized, informative instructional videos featuring Pat Parelli, Parelli instructors, and/or Parelli students, interspersed with theoretical information on horse psychology, body language, solutions to common problems, and more.

Level 1 focuses on safety and basic ground skills for both horse and rider. We start by developing a friendly relationship, because when you have that with your horse, you're much safer! The focus in Level 1 is developing a shared language (the 7 Games). Here, you'll learn the fundamental keys to control and communication by gaining insight into horse psychology and behavior.

Level 1 features only an "On Line" section: it's the ideal starting point for your Parelli training: on the ground with your horse on a rope. Here, you develop a shared language through the 7 Games, and you and your horse can see and read each other's body language. This is the cornerstone of the Parelli program. In subsequent Levels, in addition to "On Line" play, you'll also be introduced to the three other "Savvys" (domains for training our horse): FreeStyle, Liberty, and Finesse.

This lesson program allows you to work with your horse completely independently.
