The saddle's excellent twist provides a narrow, comfortable, deep, and secure seat. The seat is padded with foam and finished with brushed cowhide. The saddle's gullet can be adjusted by replacing the interchangeable horn. Django fenders and leather-covered stirrups are also in the same style as the saddle.

The saddle is constructed using the EDIX® MPDS multiple pressure distribution system. These soft, flexible layers adapt to both the horse's anatomy and the rider's posture. An EDIX treeless saddle responds optimally to the horse's movements. The complete absence of stiff, supporting parts allows the horse to move freely, especially the muscles of the horse's back and shoulders, while simultaneously refining communication between you and your horse.

The Django is equipped with the EDIX® circle-Y girth system, which allows the girth's force to interact over a larger area of ​​the saddle, as the connections are attached to the front and back of the saddle, rather than in the center. Furthermore, this EDIX® circle girth allows you to adjust the girth's position, so depending on your horse, the position can be more forward or backward.

EDIX recommends purchasing a treeless saddle as a complete package, including stirrups, stirrup leathers, and a matching special treeless saddle pad with supporting inserts. The special treeless saddle pads complement the pressure-distributing materials of treeless saddles due to their construction. The EDIX pads are anatomically shaped and equipped with the correct inserts to ensure freedom of movement for the spine. Additional pressure and position-distributing material can be added if necessary. The position-correcting material can be added in the upper pockets to temporarily improve a saddle position. EDIX offers several models of Western pads that fit the Django Western saddle. You can choose between a Western pad with a wool base and a synthetic wool finish, or a foam-based Western pad finished with an Australian Merino sheepskin. All EDIX pads are specifically designed for EDIX treeless saddles but also fit many other treeless saddles.

To ensure consistent, secure hold, we recommend a fully or partially elastic girth for a consistently fixed position. This durable elasticity, tailored to your horse's strength, will protect your saddle from unwanted forces caused by your horse's varying girth while riding. The girth's elastic always adjusts in length and keeps the saddle in place with consistent tension. In addition to the EDIX anatomical soft leather-lined elastic girth, we also offer the fully elastic FRA girth. Inserts are subject to wear and tear depending on the intensity of use and should be checked periodically for remaining strength. Insert sets are available separately.
