Good news, from 2023 onwards, getting started with Parelli Natural Horsemanship will be even easier.
There's a new members' website with a wealth of horsemanship information, as well as the opportunity to learn with your horse as a partner, from Parelli Level 1 to the advanced level 4.
Want to start with Parelli and make progress with your horse?
In addition to the "old" Levels DVD packages, there is now also the option to follow the Levels online.
This can be done via the Parelli "Levels" on the website: you start at Level 1 On Line (groundwork with your horse on a short rope) and you can then eventually move on to the advanced Level 4 (groundwork with and without a rope, and riding with and without reins).
What is Parelli Level 1?
Here, the emphasis is on safety and basic ground skills for both horse and rider. We start by developing a friendly relationship, because when you have that with your horse, you're much safer! The focus in Level 1 is developing a shared language (the 7 Games). Here, you'll learn the fundamental keys to control and communication by gaining insight into horse psychology and behavior.
Level 1 only has an "Online" section. This is the ideal starting point for your Parelli training: on the ground with your horse on a rope. Here you develop a common language through the 7 Games, and you and your horse can see each other and read each other's body language. This is the cornerstone of the Parelli program.
Once you're registered at the Parelli Discover Level, you can click through to Shop and order "Level 1." Note: Order from a computer and not through the app, as this will incorrectly add taxes. We're still working on this, so we apologize for the inconvenience!
Fun fact: If you've already achieved an official Parelli Level, when you purchase the next Level directly, you'll also receive free online access to all the levels below it.
Through the new Parelli network After purchasing Level 1, you will have access to all the information and videos you need to master all the basic skills of Parelli Level 1 with your horse.

If you have already achieved an official Parelli Level (by successfully completing a so-called Parelli audition), then when you purchase Level 3, for example, directly, you also receive free online access to all the levels below (in this case, all the information from Level 1 and Level 2).

This will take you to the Parelli member website, which is a kind of Facebook page for Parelli students, featuring new content every week, and also houses the entire Parelli Natural Horsemanship "archive" with hundreds of videos, articles, and live webinars.
You will find here So, a wealth of horsemanship information where you can search to your heart's content for whatever interests you: videos of lessons with Pat, specific questions per "Savvy" (groundwork On Line or Liberty, riding FreeStyle or Finesse), young horses, trailer loading, stress-free visits to the vet or farrier, saddle breaking, riding outside, etc.)

To be clear, as a new Savvy Member you will have access to the Savvy Club items but not automatically to the Levels pathway.
